Work Principle of Disc Feeder
Materials enter the cylinder from the hopper and accumulate on the disk. The weight causes the disc to rotate, scraping materials into another hopper via an unloading knife. The disc's continuous rotation makes for even feeding of materials. Adjust the gap between the unloading knife and the disk to control the feeding volume.
Product Application
The disc feeder can move non-viscous material, powder, and granular materials in small bulk, such as coal powder, cement, clinker, limestone, clay, gypsum, and slag.
The disc feeding machine consists of a driving device, main body, metering belt conveyer and metering device. The feeder and belt conveyor is driven by the same electromagnetic clutch, which starts and stops as needed. The speed of the metering belt conveyor is less than 1m/s.
