The drum chipper is a specialty piece of equipment used to produce wood chips. This wood chipper can chip undersized logs and leftover materials from wood cutting and processing, such as tree branches, twigs, slabs, slats, log cores, waste veneers and more, making them suitable for further processing. Our drum chipper is a multi-functional chipping machine that can cut non-wood materials, including sugarcane, reed and bamboo. This wood processing equipment is ideal for particle board factories, high density fiberboard factories, straw stalk factories, biomass power plants, and wood chip factories.

Structural Advantages
1. This drum chipper is comprised of the main machine body, knife drums, upper and lower feed rollers, conveyor belts and the hydraulic system.
2. The main body of the wood crusher is welded from steel plates.
3. The knife drum can be equipped with 2, 3 or 4 knives, which are fastened on the drum with specially manufactured knife bolts and a thrust piece.
4. The upper feed roller assembly can be adjusted vertically within range with the use of a hydraulic system to allow the drum chipper to chip materials of different thicknesses. The larger chips cut inside the chipping machine, and the chips in the desired sizes will be expelled from the bottom of the machine through the screen openings.
5. The hydraulic system allows the feed roller assembly to be lifted, and the hood to be opened, making knife adjustment and blade replacement easy.
