Our classic wrapped V-belts are made from chloroprene (CR). We use a fiberglass elastic cord for the core of the belts and apply nylon canvas to the surface.
Conventional wrapped V-belts require little maintenance and are suited for applications with larger center distance between two shafts.
When overloaded, our classic wrapped V-belts will slip on the drive pulley, which protects weaker parts from damage and guarantees safe operation.
Structure of Classic Wrapped V-Belts
1. Wrapping layer: The wrapping layer is composed of a 45° beveled plain canvas, which has good flexibility and friction properties.
2. Stretching layer: The stretching layer of the industrial V-belt is formed of sizing material with excellent elasticity.
3. Strength layer: As the framework of the classic wrapped V-belt, the strength layer is made up of cord fabric or soaked rope.
4. Cushion: There is a layer of sizing material with strong adhesive force laid around the rope of the strength layer. The sizing material is 5# rubber cushion, used to fix the rope.
5. Compression layer: The compression layer of our wrapped V-belt for sale is made up of the sizing material featuring excellent performance, bending resistance and fatigue resistance.

1. Our classic wrapped V-belts run smoothly with low noise because of their cushioning and vibration absorption.
2. They have oil resistance, ozone resistance and weather resistance.
3. With an elastic cord, our classical V-belts can evenly distribute the load and absorb bending stress.
4. Our classic wrapped V-belt’s oil resistance and heat resistance both reach the RMA Standard; and its static electric conductivity also meets the requirement of RMA.
