As a leading armored fiber optic cable manufacturer in China, we also offer a Teflon sheathed fiber optic cable. This Teflon cable is comprised of the optic fiber, a stainless steel conduit, aramid yarn, stainless steel braiding and a Teflon jacket.
Because it has such unique structures and materials, this communication medium comes with a high temperature performance and resistance to corrosion. It also features a high insulating performance and mechanical strength.
Product Features
1. This fiber optic cable has an excellent resistance to high temperatures. It can function normally up to temperatures as high as 150℃ without influencing data transmission.
2. This high temperature cable has a high insulation resistance. The insulation ratio can be up to 10KV/mm according to the thickness of the Teflon jacket.
3. It is resistant to many types of wear, including abrasion, corrosion, water, and oil, allowing a long term use in a chemical environment.
4. The insulated cable has a high mechanical strength. Its crush resistance has reached 4,000N/100 mm and the tensile strength of 4,000N.
