1. HiOSO gigabit Ethernet unmanaged media converter is a kind of gigabit fiber converter that provides an auto-adaptive data rate including 10Mbps, 100Mbps and 1000Mbps. It can realize media conversion by adoption of switching technology.
2. This network device conforms to IEEE802.3, IEEE802.3u, IEEE802.3z and IEEE802.3ab standards. It supports two types of media network connections including 10Base-T, 100Base-TX, 1000Base-T and 1000Base-SX/LX. Additionally, 1000Base-SX/LX optical signals can be converted to 10Base-T, 100Base-TX or 1000Base-T twisted-pair electrical signals, and vice versa.
3. The gigabit Ethernet unmanaged media converter can extend the transmission distance of a network from 100m over copper wires to 120km. It supports transmission in dual-fiber multi-mode, dual-fiber single-mode, and single-fiber single-mode.
Features of the Gigabit Ethernet Unmanaged Media Converter
1. This single mode and multimode converter adaptively supports mutual signal conversion between 10Base-T/ 100Base-TX/1000Base-T and 1000Base-SX/LX.
2. Support half or full duplex auto-negotiation.
3. The system is debugged and installed conveniently in support of automatic cross of twisted pair ports.
4. Support the transmission of ultra-long packets over VLAN.
5. Support Quality of Service (QoS) to guarantee transmission of VOIP packets.
6. Support Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) to construct a redundant network.
