Structure
The GYTS light-armored stranded loose tube cable is an optical communication cable, and it has a scientifically designed structure. More specifically, 250μm coated optical fibers, either single mode or multi mode, are placed inside a high modulus loose tube which is filled with water blocking material, and then several tubes and filler rods are stranded around a metallic central strength member, creating a circular cable core. After that, the cable core is filled with water blocking material, wrapped by PSP (plastic-steel-plastic) protective layer in the longitudinal direction, and then protected by a PE sheath. In this way, a light armored fiber optic cable is produced. In addition, the central strength member may be coated with PE.

Characteristic
1. Thanks to the precisely controlled excess fiber length, our stranded loose tube cable exhibits good resistance to tensile strength and temperature variation.
2. The loose tube has some special gel inside so as to protect optic fibers, and it also possesses remarkable mechanical strength and hydrolysis resistance.
3. Owing to the implementation of outer PE sheath, our double jacket loose tube cable has superior flexibility as well as tremendous resistance to crush and UV light.
4. This stranded optical fiber cable is impervious to water due to the following design details:
a. Single steel wire as the central strength member
b. Special water blocking compound inside and between loose tubes
c. Damp proof PSP outside the cable core
