Introduction
The wind driven roof vent is also known as roof ventilator or wind turbine ventilator. It is a ventilation device mounted on both sides of the roof ridge. The air vent can achieve a 24-hour air circulation without electricity, supplying the indoor environment with sufficient outdoor fresh air.
On the market, the roof ventilators are mainly made of color steel and stainless steel (201 and 304). The product asks for no oil, no electricity, and no maintenance. It is also easy to install. A 3.2 km/h breeze or an indoor and outdoor temperature difference over 3 degrees is enough to drive the air vent for a whole day’s operation.
Application
The wind driven roof vent is suitable for all the places that need to be well-ventilated, such as factories, warehouses, etc. It has the following functions:
1. Promote air convection and heat dissipation.
2. Relieve air conditioners from heavy duties and increase indoor fresh air.
3. Expel the moisture, moldy smell, and steam, keeping the roof dry.
4. Serve as an alternative to heavy electric fan, saving costs on brackets, reducing power consumption and minimizing the noise.
Working Principle
1. The operation is based on the natural air convection. The wind driven roof vent can accelerate and change the parallel air flow into the vertical air flow.
2. The operation also takes advantage of the chimney effect. By mounting the device on the building, you can achieve the ventilation through the chimney-like air vent.
