Trichlorfon

Characteristics
1. Trichlorfon, also called Metrifonate, functions as an efficient contact and stomach poison against pests. It can penetrate into plants without uptake and translocation.
2. This agricultural chemical is applicable to a variety of crops such as rice, wheat, vegetables, tea, fruit, mulberry, cotton, duckweed etc. It is used to control the livestock parasites, health pests, and the pests with chewing mouthparts, among others.

Benefits
1. As is a selective insecticide, Trichlorfon kills selected insects, but spares many or most other organisms.
2. The agricultural pesticide is toxic to target insects through direct applications and by ingestion, meaning that it works both by contact and stomach poison action.
