The YGT series three phase permanent magnet synchronous motor is a rare earth PMSM which could operate smoothly without resistive loss of rotors, thus reducing the general loss by 20% to 30% and in result improving its efficiency by 3% to 4%.
The PMSM could be used to replace the general induction motor and synchronous motor and operate well under various working conditions, especially on the conditions where the loads change periodically, such as in the pumping units used in oil exploitation. Also, thiselectric motor is much more energy-saving than the induction motors, enjoying a desirable power saving rate of 10% to 30%.
Features
1. High Starting Torque, High Overload Capacity
Our three phase permanent magnet synchronous motor has a higher starting torque, a greater overloaded capacity, and a reduced installed power. Its torques and overload capacity could be averagely one to two or even three power levels higher than those of the asynchronous motors. The ratio between the maximum starting torque and rated torque could be 3.25. Also, this three phase synchronous motor could start smoothly;
2. High Operating Efficiency
There is no slip loss during the motor's operation. Meanwhile, as the magnet field is formed by permanent magnets, neither the reactive excitation current of the stator is needed nor is there any resistive loss of the rotor. That is what the induction motors are incapable of. Therefore, the operating efficiency of the permanent magnet synchronous motor is always 3% to 4% higher than that of the induction motors;
3. High Power Factor
As the permanent magnets serve as the excitation source, the power factor of the permanent magnet synchronous motor could reach 0.98 during full-load operations. When the load factor reaches 40% to 50%, the electric motor's power factor could exceed 0.8. When the load factor is higher than 50%, the power factor would increase a lot, even beyond the rated power. Hence, compensating capacitors are not necessary and therefore the investment in and maintenance cost of the compensating equipment are reduced, increasing economic benefits;
4. Unique Design, Long Service Life
The rotor structure of this rare earth motor is quite unique in that there are cooling circulation channels within the structure which are delicately designed to lower the temperature raise of rotors and ensure a perfect working temperature for the permanent magnets, thus stabilizing the magnetic field and extend the magnets' lifetime.
Also, the embedded permanent magnets within the permanent magnet synchronous motor are replaceable. So once their magnetism degraded or thoroughly lost as a result of a burnt motor in an accident, it's very convenient to remove the magnets from the rotors for re-magnetization or replacement. Customers could also save the costs of repair and maintenance;
5. Strong Interchangeability, Easy Maintenance
The rare earth synchronous drive unit is equipped with the same motor frame as that of the Y series and Y2 series motors. Its external dimensions and installment dimensions also consist with those of the Y and Y2 motors. Given this fact, the YGT synchronous motor, Y motor and Y2 motor are interchangeable with each other and share similar maintenance requirements. Therefore, it's quite easier to replace other induction motor with the YGT motor.
To be short, this series electric motor manufactured by our factory enjoys a wide range of rated powers from 5.5kWto 45kW. The input voltages are AC 380V, 660V, or 1140V, with the frequency of 50Hz.
