With the PTFE lined wafer structure, the RBV060 series resilient seated butterfly valve is designed for corrosive media, especially various kinds of strong acids, such as sulfuric acid and aqua regia. The PTFE material will not pollute media within a pipeline.

Overall Design
1. The butterfly valve comes with two-way installation, zero leakage, corrosion resistance, light weight, small size, low cost and easy installation.
2. Its PTFE-clad seat is capable of protecting the body against corrosive media.
3. Due to a dry stem design, the stem is wholly separated from media and makes use of standard materials.
4. Its split type structure allows fine adjustment in the clamping degree of the body, which realizes perfect match between seal and torque.
5. With full bore design, this quarter-turn valve enjoys high CV value.
Features
1. Body
The butterfly valve is available in wafer type or lugged type. The bolts and body clearance can be adjusted according to actual requirements, so as to improve sealing performance, control torque, and prolong service life of seat and disc. The drill holes of a wafer body are able to reach DIN PN10/16 and ASME Class150 standards. The lugged body can be drilled according to DIN PN10/16 and ASME Class150 standards, so as to successfully install in the end of a pipeline. In addition, its upper flange achieves ISO 5211 standard. The butterfly valve can be directly mounted with a manual, pneumatic or electric actuator.
2. Seat
To increase elasticity and sealing property, there is a layer of rubber between the body and seat. The rubber can be EPDM or other types of rubber in line with your demands. Since the contact surface between the disc and body is coated with PTFE, the body and disc are totally isolated from media, which averts corrosion and increase working life.
3. Disc
1) Manufactured from high-strength stainless steel casting, the disc is covered with a layer of pure PTFE whose minimum thickness is 3mm. The customized disc can match the PTFE-lined seat well, and its torque allows for adjustment, which effectively avoids large torque caused by the PTFE-clad disc. Compared with other like products, our butterfly valve is proud of small operating torque and good sealing property.
2) Since the disc of RBV060A series is coated with PTFE, it can be applied to isolate or regulate highly corrosive media.
3) Made of stainless steel or nodular cast iron, the RBV060B series disc is coated with PTFE, and appropriate for lowly corrosive media. There are various stainless steel options to meet your demands.
4. Stem Sleeve
Our anti-corrosive phenolic or PTFE sleeves performs well in lateral thrust absorption. The sleeves can also be manufactured from brass.
5. Blow-out Proof Design
A locating ring is mounted between processed stem groove and upper seal, maintaining the position of stem even there is an internal fault because of an accident.
6. Main Stem Seal and Secondary Seal
1) The main seal of butterfly valve is achieved through the interference fit between the disc and seat.
2) The secondary seal refers to the vulcanized sealing ring behind the PTFE seat. Since the sealing ring has been squeezed by the disc and seat, there is upward and downward pressure on the surfaces of the disc and seat.
7. Actuator Installation
The butterfly valve follows a modularization design and can be mounted with actuators directly without any bracket, which helps to reduce error and overall height. The valve actuator can be divided into the handle, worm reducer, pneumatic actuator and electric actuator.
