True to its name, the 35mm PM stepper motor comes with a housing that measures 35mm in diameter. Low cost and simple design are the major benefits of the motor for its user companies. As is seen in the picture, the motor has a non-captive shaft attached to it. In essence, the non-captive shaft is nothing but a lead screw onto which the lead nut is threaded.
The integrated lead screw and nut make the shaft travel longer than is possible with the captive design. The lead screw is made of stainless steel 1Cr18Ni9Ti while the nut is constructed from POM. Considered as the crucial components in the motor, the linear motion mechanism has eliminated the need for belts and pulleys, rack and pinions, or external ball screws.
This linear non-captive PM stepper motor uses DC 24V as the power supply. It is a 2-phase electromagnetic device that can be customized to match your needs for voltage, current and maximum operating speed.
