The HXGN-12 medium voltage switchgear is usually applied to three-phase AC 50Hz, 3-12kV ring network for power supply, distribution and control. This range of indoor switchgear has been widely adopted by residence communities, high-rise buildings, schools, parks as well as industrial and mining enterprises.
Additionally, this medium voltage switchgear can be used breaking rated short circuit current, no-load transformer current, overhead line or cable current. You can also use it as protection switch once it is configured with fuse cutout, or install it into box-type substation.

Service Conditions of the Medium Voltage Switchgear
This high voltage switch cubicle should be used under following conditions:
1. Ambient temperature: -25℃ to 40℃
Average temperature within 24 hours: ≤ 35℃
2. Relative humidity:
Monthly average value ≤95%, monthly average vapour pressure value ≤2.2KPa
Monthly average value ≤90%, monthly average vapour pressure value ≤1.8KPa
3. Altitude: ≤1000m
4. Seismic intensity: ≤Magnitude 8
5. Applicable place: The medium voltage switchgear should be installed at places without flammable, combustible articles or corrosion hazard.
Key Features of the Medium Voltage Switchgear
1. This switch cabinet boasts reliable performances. The air gap between current-carrying parts and ground is not less than 125mm. Creepage distance totally meets national standards. Epoxy and SMC insulation greatly enhances insulating level and mechanical strength of the whole cabinet, making protection level reach IP2X.
2. Vacuum circuit breaker is designed with line inlet and outlet, maximally meeting short circuit capacity. Meanwhile, intelligent protective device provides reliable protection.
3. Our medium voltage switchgear is user-friendly with high safety. The static contact of load switch is designed with insulating cover to prevent arc short circuit. The movable metal valve on the insulating cover will be closed when the earthing switch is off to ensure personnel safety. Besides, the entire cabinet comes with no oil or toxicity, and won’t cause fire disaster or explosion hazard.
4. This electrical switchgear is highlighted by long service life and small maintenance load.
5. Except to default phase protection function, this product also has high overload breaking capability and can easily break 2000A current.
6. Through adopting energy-storing spring mechanism, switching on and off speed of the medium voltage switchgear won’t be affected by human factors. Our medium voltage switchgear can also be equipped with electromagnetic mechanism, totally conforming to national standard. Besides, the spring mechanism is either manually or electrically operated, saving time and labor.
7. The cabinet is made through bending cold rolled steel or welding section steel, characterized by stable structure, flexible assembly as well as excellent universality and system performance. Wire connection mode can be adjusted according to your special needs.
8. Bus-bar cell is on the top of ring main unit and can be mounted vertically or horizontally. Featured by small size and easy installation, it can save expenditures for building high-voltage chamber.
