ZTQ Series Dual-purpose Power Tong

Overview
The ZTQ series dual-purpose power tong is capable of running casing as well as reliable drill pipe makeup and breakout, which is a new-generation power tong independently developed by RUSHI according to specific demands of oilfield.

This hydraulic tong integrates functions of both drill pipe tong and casing tong, requiring no tool replacement for operation shifting. Hence, wellhead operation efficiency is improved and labor intensity is greatly reduced.

Outstanding Features
1. Our dual-purpose power tong enables movement forward and backward, and it can be easily moved to positions like well head or mouse hole.
2. It is available for integral lifting and tong head height adjustment in accordance with height of tubular pipe joints.
3. Upper tong can be lifted to increase distance between upper and lower tongs, providing open view for drillers to perform makeup operation.
4. The upper and lower tongs are in one piece to avoid tubulars from crooking at large torque. Besides, tubulars won't readily skid inside the drill pipe slip.
5. Our dual-purpose power tong also combines structure of torque wrench and spinning wrench, capable of gear shifting without stop. Thus, efficiency of makeup and breakout operations is largely enhanced.
6. Due to specially designed suspension mechanism, horizontal oscillation of tong body and inclination of tong head are realizable, and operation is more secure and effort-saving.
7. Automatic self-centering clamping mechanism safely ensures reliable makeup of tubular joints.
8. Reset and operation conversion are quick and reliable.
9. This rig equipment produces maximum torque and speed both in positive and negative directions, and torque and speed are adjustable. During casing running, shifter can be used to control torque for casing makeup.
10. Our dual-purpose power tong makes use of brake band and clamping cylinder for clamping control.
11. At large torque of 90-125kN·m, doorframe is helpful for preventing head deformation of dual-purpose power tong.
