Overview
The TB series casing tong with clincher back-up is one of patented API hydraulic power tongs manufactured by RUSHI. It can be coupled with well drilling equipment for casing running operation, which can largely enhance tubulars coupling quality and reduce tong deformation at large torque. Meanwhile, it also improves operation safety and reliability, ramps up operation efficiency, and also alleviates labor intensity.
Features
1. This casing running tool is either hydraulically or pneumatically controlled. It is engineered with torque sensor to accurately detect tubular coupling torque.
2. It conforms to SY/T5074 standard and API 7K specifications.
3. Our casing tong with clincher back-up enables precise centering and clamping of tubulars, thus improving operation efficiency. Meanwhile, it performs reliable makeup and breakout operations, dispensing with slip.
4. Tong deformation is effectively avoided, thus effectively extending lifespan of this backup wrench.
5. Since adopting free-floating design, torque of upper and lower tongs can be measured.
6. During casing running, there is no need for pulling tail rope, and operation is safe and reliable.
7. The entire casing tong with clincher back-up utilizes air cylinder instead of manual operation for shifting action, thus less labors are used.
8. Backup clincher driven by air source can be independently and flexibly operated.
