Four-Row Cylindrical Roller Bearings

The four-row cylindrical roller bearing is mainly used on roll neck of rolling stand, roller and roller press. Compared with other roller bearings, they have lower coefficient of friction. Such bearings are usually mounted on the roll neck with an interference fit. So they are especially suitable for high speed rolling mills.

Cross section of the four-row cylindrical roller bearing allows the use of larger roll neck compared with the roller diameter. Rollers can be loaded in large quantities, so the radial load capacity of such bearings is very high.

The four-row cylindrical roller bearing can only bear radial load. Therefore, when installed with groove ball bearings or angular contact ball bearings, it will be the latter which bear the axial load.

The rings and rolling components can be easily separated, which considerably simplifies the bearing installation, maintenance and inspection.
