Four-Point Angular Contact Ball Bearings

The four-point angular contact ball bearing is separable. Its inner and outer ring raceway has peach-shaped cross section. When carrying no load or radial load only, the steel ball and ring appear as four-point contact, which is the name origin of this bearing. Compared with other ball bearings, it has smaller axial clearance when having same radial clearance, so it has higher limit speed.

The four-point angular contact ball bearing has variants among which the QJ type has split inner ring while the QJF type has split outer ring. Both types have WBJF patented cage. The cage is featured by easy filling and secure locking of balls. The types using this kind of cage have “YA8” at the end of their type code.
