The double-row cylindrical roller bearing is especially suitable for machine tool spindle bearing. It is designed to have a compact structure, additional strength in carrying radial loads, and small deformation under load. The tapered bore can be used for micro-adjustment of clearance. It also simplifies structure of positioning device, which makes the bearing easy to be installed and removed.

The Double row cylindrical roller bearing has two variants as below. The types with tapered bore have codes plus “K” at the end.

1. NN type double-row cylindrical roller bearing
NN type is designed to have a compact structure and small deformation under load. So it is suitable for machine tool spindle bearing. It does not have outer flange, so you can install outer and inner components separately (with roller and cage). It does not limit the axial displacement of shaft or housing. Compared with the single row cylindrical roller bearing with same radial dimensions, the double-row cylindrical roller bearing can carry greater radial load.

2. NNK type double row tapered bore cylindrical roller bearings
NNK type is designed to have a compact structure and small deformation under load. So it is suitable for machine tool spindle bearing. Bearing bore is tapered for micro-adjustment of radial clearance. It does not limit the axial displacement of shaft or housing. Compared with single row cylindrical roller bearing with same radial dimensions, double-row cylindrical roller bearing can carry greater radial load.
