Eco-friendly Flame Retardant for PP

Our eco-friendly flame retardant for PP is a new fire retardant, featuring high efficiency and environmental protection. Its main content is a reactive flame retardant containing nitrogen, phosphorus and bromine. This product is primarily designed for the modification of PP of V2 flammability rating.

This product can offer less smoke amount and stronger fire resistance in contrast with traditional brominated FR such as DBDPO, TBBA, and BDDP. Its dosage only ranges from 1 to 2%. There is no need to add Sb2O3. With low bromine content, our product allows the modified fire-retardant PP goods to be almost halogen-free.

In addition, the eco-friendly flame retardant for PP has outstanding processing performance. It is characterized by high water resistance, no precipitation, and low impact on mechanical properties of manufactured goods, among others. Our product can be directly used for extrusion and injection of PP-based compounds.

Precautions
1. We suggest using EBS as a lubrication system of our product formulation. The use of PE wax, zinc stearate, calcium stearate, and stearic acid is prone to the occurrence of foaming phenomena.
2. Our eco-friendly flame retardant for PP can not be blended with BDDP-based fire retardant, or else it will become dark and grey.
3. Addition of black masterbatches does not affect flammability. This product does not react with UV stabilizer, antioxidant, and more.
4. This product is perfect for use in PP homopolymers, PP copolymers, the PP-homopolymer and Mitsui-POE compounds, the PP-homopolymer and 0-10% barium sulfate compounds, and the talc padding system.
5. It is inappropriate to utilize calcium carbonate or CaCO3-containing masterbatch as an ingredient of our product.

Packing, Storage and Transportation
The eco-friendly flame retardant for PP is packed in a complex paper bag lined with PE bag. Its net weight is 25kg/bag. This product is transported in accordance with the requirements of general chemicals. It must be sealed and stored in a dry and cool place.
