Introduction
Cargo survey is performed by qualified surveyors based on the application of relevant party, or under the assignment of judicial office and arbitral agency, or on behalf of other surveying organizations, to investigate the true conditions of cargos by virtue of scientific method and just attitude. Damage degree, cause of damage and ascription of liability will be ascertained, and relevant certificate or report will be issued then as documented proof.
