The SHC1302F 32 bit dual interface credit card chip is commonly applied in banking system to serve as the security chip for credit cards, deposit cards, and more . It is manufactured via 0.18μm CMOS EEPROM process, and the SC100 CPU adopts 32-bit RISC design strategy. The embedded 96kB ROM and 8kB RAM are employed by the credit card chip to store data and programs, while the 48kB EEPROM is responsible for the storage of data and programs when power is off.

This credit card chip also contains many other modules, such as timer, watchdog, clock generator, interrupt controller, system controller, true random number generator, DES/3DES, SSF33, SM1, 2048-bit RSA coprocessor, CRC module, security control unit, ISO7816 serial interface, RF interface that conforms to ISO 14443 standard, etc.
