ZL40 and ZL50 series drive axle is designed for 4 to 5 ton loaders and other engineering machinery. These products feature compact structure, semi floating shafts and reliable caliper-type automobile disc brake. ZL40 and ZL50 series drive axle for loader have two stages of deceleration and transmission. The first one starts at the main reduction gear which adopts the Gleason spiral bevel gear, so it is capable of efficiently transferring large torque. The second is conducted by the hub-reduction gear. This part is fitted with the planetary gears (NGW type), so the reduced speed is transmitted.

Between the main reduction gear and the hub-reduction gear, there is the full-floating axle. It can move a little in the axle housing, so as to avoid the impact from the deformation of housing. Therefore, this advantage is perfect for wheel loaders, vibrating rollers and tractors.

Classification
1. ZL40 and 50D
On the basis of improvements for decades, ZL40 and ZL50D series drive axle for loader have stable performance, and are ideal for general loaders and other engineering machines.

2. ZL50M
ZL50M series is the Soma type, so it delivers more balanced speed ratio and loads to every single part in the assembly. Therefore, it is fairly suitable for mid to high-end loaders and other engineering machines at the same level.

3. ZL50L
ZL50L series is the newly invented drive axle on the basis of XGMA and Soma type. It has better quality, more stable performance and reasonable price. Meanwhile, it has been proved to be ideal for mid to high-end loaders made in China and other engineering machinery at the same level.

4. ZL50MB
ZL50MB series is the swing axle. It has Soma type for front axle. As for the rear one, it also is the Soma type, but being fitted with Oscillating axle. Therefore, this design delivers lower center of gravity and swing center, resulting in promoting the safety of the whole vehicle.
