Our company has provided porcelain surge arrester since the inception in 1991. We can now offer such product in a variety of specifications. Our product housing is made of porcelain from Jingdezhen, a city famous for high quality porcelain in northeastern Jiangxi province. Due to our long-term, large-quantity purchase, we have fixed material supplier, thus greatly reducing the production costs.
The key component of our porcelain surge arrester, zinc oxide-based metal oxidevaristor, is brand new and of high quality. It not only makes our products have excellent volt-ampere characteristics and fast steep wave response but also improves the product's overvoltage flow capacity and reduces discharge dispersion.
The varistor and aluminum pole are wound by multiple layers of weftless binding tape. The assembly is then heated in the energy-saving hot air circulation oven for 6 hours to cure the weftless binding tape, thus achieving the purpose of better protecting the varistor and aluminum pole. Also, there is no gap between the varistor and aluminum pole due to the adoption of an electrical strapping machine. This effectively prevents the glue in the weftless binding tape penetrating.
Manufactured in the cleanroom, our product is free from dust intrusion. The workers all have 7 or 8 years of experience in producing this type of product, thus ensuring product quality to some extent. In addition, our products with the rated voltage greater than 35kV are all subjected to at least 24 hours of water boiling experiment and the water temperature exceeds 80℃, so they enjoy high quality and achieve great lightning protection effect.
Our porcelain surge arrester is pollution-resistant, cleaning-free, explosion-proof, and quakeproof, but it is larger and heavier, thus inconvenient and costly to transport, than the product with polymeric housing. Customers can choose appropriate product according to their own needs.
