Lap Joint Flange

The lap joint flange is commonly seen in the piping system. It is less expensive than other types of flanges because of smaller amount of materials required to build it.

This series of flange is primarily used on the copper, aluminum, and stainless steel pipes. It can move freely on the pipe, which makes it easier to install bolts.

The flange can be used as the air duct to largely replace traditional rectangular air ducts, given the fact that it costs less money and time to make a lap joint flange type air duct with minimum air leakage rate.
