Elbow

The elbow, or the elbow pipe fitting as some might call it, falls into one of two types according to its radius of curvature: long- or short-radius configuration. The long-radius elbow refers to one that has a radius of curvature which is 1.5 times the outside diameter, that is, R=1.5D.
