The heat regenerated adsorption air dryer is a new generation of drying devices upgraded from the heatless regenerative desiccant dryer. Within the heat regenerative dryer, the desiccant is heated to improve its efficiency during regeneration. Through this process, valuable desiccant and air are saved.
This series of dryer combines the features of pressure swing adsorption and temperature swing adsorption technologies. At ambient temperatures, the higher the pressure, the more water vapor is adsorbed. When the pressure is reduced and temperature increased, the vapor is desorbed, which is to say, water vapor trapped in the desiccant is released and completely removed from it by the dried, heated compressed air via heat diffusion under low pressure.
Additionally, the equipment incorporates the advantages of heat-regenerative and heatless regenerative methods, whereby the dried compressed air is heated to regenerate the desiccant. This process is quite energy saving, and extends the time limit for switching tower. It has been so far the most economical adsorption air dryer extensively used in metallurgy, electric power, electronics, food, chemistry, petroleum, medicine, textile, tobacco, instrument, and automatic control industries.

The air treatment capacity is measured under specified condition (at the work pressure of 0.7Mpa and inlet temperature of 38℃). The maximum volume flow rate in the dryer is measured at 20℃ in temperature, 0.1MPa in pressure, and 65% in relative humidity. |
