Crawler DTH Drilling Rig
The crawler DTH drilling rig is a machine that uses electric or pneumatic power or is driven by combustion engines. It generates high, moderate, or low pressure air that is required to perform drilling with maximum stability. Mounted on the track, the machine is mobile equipment perfectly suitable for bumpy road applications.
Using various DTH percussion hammers, our track-mounted drilling equipment can drill holes with various diameters, to different depths, in multiple directions, and at plural angles, for blasting, pre-splitting, grout filling, anchor cable and stock installation, and surveying. It has wide applications, featuring high drilling efficiency.
To reduce dust as well as health risks, the drilling machine can be installed with a dry or wet dust extractor.
This type of drilling rig falls into one of the two series, either KC or KY series.
The former is powered by compressed air. When combined with the down-the-hole percussion hammer, it is capable of drilling pre-split holes, blast holes, and anchor cable holes in horizontal, perpendicular, or tilting direction.
The latter uses the diesel engine to supply power. Via the hydraulic power transmission, it can perform various actions, such as walking, rotating, thrusting, lifting, and angle adjusting.
