Air/Oil Separator

The air/oil separator allows the lubricating oil to separate from the compressed air, whereby the use life of lubricating oil and the quality of compressed air are guaranteed. The separator improves the cleanness of compressed air passing through it. For this reason, the air pollution to post-treatment equipment is reduced.

Caution
Users should change the parts on the separator periodically. Risks involved in not replacing the filter may result in the followings.

1. Low separating efficiency leads to an increase in oil consumption, whereby the operating cost rises. Oil shortage in extreme cases will most likely cause compression machine failure.
2. The compressed air contains large amount of oil which impacts the operation of rear-end purifying equipment, or even the pneumatic tools.
3. Clogged separator results in an increase of the discharge pressure. Along with this, the energy consumption will rise and the energy efficiency is reduced.
4. The glass fiber may accidentally fall into the lubricating oil, which shortens the use life of filter element and causes rapid wear of the main machine.
