Air/Oil Separating Element

1. Function: The air/oil separating element is designed to drain the oil out of the compressed air.
2. Work Principle: Compressed air coming out from the compression head carries oil droplets of different sizes. The large-sized oil drop is easy to separate from the air via the air-oil separating tank, whereas the small-sized oil drop must be filtered out by the glass fiber of microns in size. The oil aerosol is caught in the fiber, permeating and aggregating. Small drops will gather together to form large drops, which pass through the filtrating layer under the influence of gravity and pneumatic force and end up at the bottom of separating element. The accumulated oil will return to lubricating system via the inlet of oil return pipe set at the bottom trough of the separator. Through this process, the element can ensure an output of pure compressed air.

Caution
1. Use the standard lubricating oil as is required so as to ensure its aging resistance. Prior to filling new oil, remember to drain out the old oil to avoid contamination as well as prevent the mixing of incompatible lubricants.

2. When installing the oil return pipe, users need to confirm the pipe to be inserted to the bottom of the separator. Pay attention to the electrostatic discharge when changing the separator. Care is taken to connect the metal net with the oil barrel housing.

3. The general use life of the separating element is 2000 hours.
