Overall Description
The silicon sealed battery is produced by salinizing the nanoscale granules into the fluid and adopting the specially designed lead-calcium high-tin alloy plates that conform to the latest EU standard without mercury and pickaxe. By virtue of the optimized container formation technique of plates, it is a new generation product with the strengths of high quality, high performance, environmental protection, energy conservation, high efficiency and high safety.
General Composition
Commonly, this product is composed by the positive plate, negative plate, separator made from the glass fiber, battery jar, cover plate, safety valve, bus bar, terminal, electrolytic silicon fluid and other components.
Fabrication Materials
All the components of the silicon sealed battery are made from high-quality materials.
1. The grid plate adopts the lead-calcium high-tin alloy plate that tallies with the latest EU standard.
2. The glass fiber is applied to the separator.
3. Both of the battery jar and the cover plate are fabricated by superior ABS engineering plastics.
4. The sealing rubber of the terminal post is made from the epoxy resin with excellent fire resistance.
5. The electrolytic silicon fluid is processed by hermetically salinizing the independently-designed nanoscale granules into the fluid.
6. The terminal post adopts the copper terminal or the lead terminal.
Capacity Standardization
The capacity of the silicon sealed battery totally complies with the national standard that specifies the capacity of different batteries under the environment temperature of 25℃. The standby and storage cells are usually rated at the 10-hour capacity, the power cells whose capacity is below 20Ah are rated at the 2-hour capacity, the power cells whose capacity is over 20Ah are rated at the 3-hour capacity, and the starting cells are rated at the 10-hour capacity.
Product Features
1. This product is eco-friendly. The acid mist will not be produced during charging and discharging. Also, the electrolyte is pollution free.
2. It is heat and coldness resistant and can still normally work under the temperature of -40℃ to 70℃.
3. The silicon sealed battery is designed with a high idle capacity which is 1.75 times as much as that specified by the national standard.
4. It also possesses a high capacity even in the -40℃ low-temperature environment, and over 60% of the capacity can be retained.
5. It has a long life span. The GW series under the floating charging state can be used for more than 10 years, and the DW series is provided with over 450 times life cycle.
6. This product has small internal resistance.
7. High-current discharge is available. It can discharge under the current of 30C within 8 seconds without stoppage.
8. The deep discharge without memory is attainable. Meanwhile, the capacity can be 100% recharged.
9. This silicon sealed battery also features excellent charging acceptance, and enables a rapid charging under large current of 0.6C. It can be fully charged for a half an hour if the special pulse current charging device is used.
10. With low self discharge, it still works since it is fully charged and stored for 2 years under the normal temperature.
11. Other envied features include good security, remarkable air impermeability as well as the explosion and flame resistance during the usage.
12. It is maintenance-free product with a valve-controlled sealing structure.
13. It is charged before the delivery, and the installation and application are quite simple.
Application Scope
The silicon sealed battery can be applied to the following fields:
1. Emergency power supply for the communication system
2. Backup power for the electric power system
3. Starting power for planes, ships and motor vehicles
4. Starting and traction power for the railway system, auxiliary power supply for buses
5. Energy storing device for peak load compensation
6. Auxiliary power supply for the marine equipment
7. Backup UPS for computers, solar streetlights
8. Backup power supply for the medical equipment
9. The silicon sealed battery is also extensively used as the power supply for electric vehicles, deep ocean lighting and the dynamical system, firefighting and security systems, emergency lighting system, alarm system and for lighting and traction in mines.
