Deacidification or Deodorization
In the oil deodorization system, the bleached oil is extracted from the feed tank by the deareator feed pump in a continuous way. The oil is heated preliminarily in the deaerating economizer by the outgoing deodorized oil and then processed by the deaerating heater if necessary before entering the deaerator. The vessel is under full vacuum so that the amount of residue air can be minimized.

1. Stripping
The hot oil enters the packed column that is filled with special structured packing so as to make the oil spread into a thin film and evenly stirred by stripping steam moving in a countercurrent way from the bottom of the column. Therefore, free fatty acids and other remaining volatile impurities in the oil can be evaporated and eliminated with the assistance of the steam.

2. Deodorizing
The oil stripped in the column travels into the deodorizer in which it flows through the channels of a series of compartments or trays which are vertically stacked while being stirred by stripping steam.

3. Trans and Tocopherol
The advantages, including high efficiency with the stripping steam in a low amount, short retention time of the stripping column and the possibility to lower heat bleaching time or temperature, guarantee optimum conditions for regulation of the deodorization process. In such a case, the oil can be appropriately deodorized, generating no trans fatty acids. Meanwhile, the quantity of tocopherol removed from the oil can be well controlled.

1. Deodorization Tower
During deodorization process, the flash tower, high efficiency soft deodorization pot and more are employed so as to guarantee refining quality. The deodorization tower can not only eliminate odor chemicals but also improve oil quality. Able to save steam by up to 50%, it can protect fat from splitting.

2. Spiral Plate Heat Exchanger
This equipment is suitable for high effectiveness heat exchange between vapor and vapor, vapor and liquid, as well as liquid and liquid.
