The DT desolventizer toaster is supposed to be used for one-time extracted soybean meal. The content of solvent in the meal from extractor is from 25 to 35%. In order to recover solvent and get better meal, the solvent can be toasted by heating. The high material layer toaster is adopted in most cases to separate solvent from meal as well as dry extracted meal.

The reasonable steam injection method makes low the outlet temperature of vapor phase DT desolventizing equipment, thus greatly reducing the energy consumption. The desolventizer is capable of removing solvent from meal effectively in a closed condition. Adopting the direct steam uniform distribution mode, it can minimize the content of the solvent in the cake meal in comparison with traditional desolventizing equipment. On each part of this product, material particles stay for the same period of time, thus the quality of product is highly unified. The adjustment of vapor temperature can be achieved through automatically altering the amount of direct steam.

Purpose of Wet Meal Treatment
1. The purpose of wet meal treatment by the desolventizer is to completely remove solvent and to guarantee safe use of meal as well as the minimum solvent loss.
2. The second objective is to destroy harmful toxins and anti-nutritional elements in the meal so as to improve meal quality.
3. The third aim is to adjust the temperature and moisture content of the meal for safe storage of finished meal.

Post-processing of Meal
The equipment used for post-processing of meal involves soybean meal gravity grading sieve and hammer mill. As for the production of graded meal, the granule size should be at a uniform level. After being crushed, the soybean hull should be added to and mixed with the shredded soybean meal. The process can be concluded as screening, crushing and mixing.
