Seamless Steel Pipe

The specification of the seamless steel pipe is represented with outside diameter times the wall thickness. The dimension is measured in millimeters. For example, we can describe the product with outside diameter of 76mm and wall thickness of 3.2mm as 76×3.2mm. In standard written form, the symbol Φ is added before the outside diameter value.

Generally, the seamless steel pipe is delivered in line with the normal length. The normal length should comply with the following provisions.
1. Hot rolled (expanded) tube: 3000-12000mm
2. Cold rolled (drawn) tube: 2000-10500mm
3. Hot rolled (expanded) short tube: ≥2m
4. Cold rolled (drawn) short tube: ≥1m

As to the seamless steel tube delivered according to the theoretical weight, the weight of each batch of the product should be no less than 10t. The allowable deviation of the theoretical weight to actual weight is ±7.5% or ±5%.
