Product Performance
Possessing the merits covering high strength, good toughness, excellent processability as well as prominent weldability, the hot rolled steel plates are widely applied into the manufacturing industry involving ship, automobile, bridge, construction, machinery, pressure vessel, etc.

Product Classification
The product mainly refers to the steel strip (coil). According to the difference of the material and performance, the hot continuous rolled product has the ordinary carbon structure steel type, low alloy steel type, and alloy steel type. In terms of the use purpose, it can be divided into the types for cold forming, structure, automotive structure, corrosion resistant structure, mechanical structure, welding gas cylinder and pressure vessel, pipeline, etc.

Basic Material Performance Comparison
The SPHC, Q195, SAE1006 and 08YU hot rolled steel plates contain the carbon with the percentage of about 0.06%. Belonging to the type for cold forming, they are suitable for manufacturing the parts with cold type processing, usually used for processing cold rolled product, the stamping molding product with certain extension requirement and the parts with complex shape. The chemical composition and mechanical property of the above materials are quite similar. On the basis of understanding the customer’s application requirement, the above materials are mutually replaceable.

The surface flatness of the product in different manufacturers has some differences at the beginning of uncoiling and flattening. If customers only lay stress on the mechanical property and price of the product, and have low requirement to the surface flatness, we can recommend our other product with similar performance to the customers.

The SS400, Q235A, Q235B, ZJ400A, ZJ400B and ZJ400C hot rolled steel sheets are the general structural steel with good surface flatness. They have high mechanical strength but poor ductility. If customers emphasize on the surface flatness with tolerable molding performance, they can choose those kinds of product. The products with the abovementioned materials are often employed concerning the manufacturing of steel form, ship, steel structure, steel safe, goods shelf, automobile, mining machinery, engineering machinery, etc.

The Q215, ZJ330B, SPHT2 and SS330 rank between the above two kinds of materials in terms of mechanical performance. They are suitable for the customers who have not high requirements to the comprehensive performance of the material.

Delivery Condition
The hot rolled steel coil is delivered in hot rolled state.

Note:
1. SPHC follows the Japanese JIS standard. It is the combination of the first letters of Steel, Plate, Heat and Commercial.
2. As to the SS400, the first S means the steel and the second S denotes the structure. The 400 points the minimum tensile strength.
