Introduction
Classified as the small section steel, the wire rod mainly refers to the hot rolled round steel with the diameter of 5 to 14mm. It is commonly supplied in coils through the coil winder. The product has the ordinary low carbon steel hot rolled type, quenched and tempered threaded type, high quality type, as well as the type for electric welding and detonating line.

Main Purpose
The product is primarily employed as the raw material for reinforcement of reinforced concrete, welded structure or reprocessing. The specific usage should be noted in the order contract. The L means the product for wire drawing. The J denotes the product for building construction and for other general uses.

Specification and Grade
The wire rod mainly has the ordinary type and high speed type. The ordinary type, namely the commonly used low carbon steel hot rolled type, is fabricated from Q195, Q215 and Q235 common carbon steel through hot rolling with the nominal diameter of 5.5mm to 14.0mm and every coil weighing 100kg to 200kg. The high speed type is often made by employing the high-speed no-twist wire mill for rolling and then the controlled cooling measure. With the diameter being 5.5mm to 22.0mm, the maximum coil weight of the high speed type can get to 2500kg.

The ordinary wire rod is mainly taken for construction, wire drawing, package, welding rod, as well as for producing bolt, nut, rivet, etc. The excellent type, such as 45#, 55#, 70#, 80#, 72A, 77B, 82B, 65Mn, H08A, 30MnSi, etc., is primarily applied as the raw material of the metal product such as steel wire and for other structural part. Customarily, we rank the product with the diameter greater than 8mm into the excellent type and the product with the diameter less than 8mm into metal product.

Quality Requirements
Apart from the strength, the product should go through the inspections concerning cold bending test and dimension, etc. in line with the use purpose. Its surface can not come out with the defects like crack, fold, scab, rolling edge, delaminating, inclusion, etc.

Delivery Term and Condition
The wire rod is delivered in hot rolled state according to the actual weight.
