P5100 trunking mobile two way radio conform to GA176-1998 police automatic network scheme-one of mobile communications for public security and MPT1327 trunking system. It is also in accordance with America military standard MIL-810-C/D/E/F. The protection grade is IP54. Sturdy and durable structure makes the product suitable for harsh working conditions. The radio adopts advanced voice companding technique and its audio output power reaches 3W. Therefore, crisp and clear voice can be obtained even in noisy environment. The trunking transceiver is an ideal option for the command and dispatch in wireless communication. It has been widely applied in many areas such as public safety, emergency rescue and transportation.

Automatic Selection of Base Station-Advanced ambient field strength scanning technique and talk-back-on-scan function help to lock the vehicle-mounted radio on base stations with stronger signal. The function enables the product to work normally in environment with multi trunking base stations.
Five Programmable Function Buttons-The five keys on the front panel can be assigned to different functions according to users' specific requirements. These functions consist of calling out, scanning and controlling channels manually, emergency call and one-key switch between trunked mode and conventional mode, etc. Flexible function configuration is provided.

Built-in Public Network GPS Positioning (Optional)-Built-in GPS positioning module allows users to locate vehicles. The module is optional. Hence, customers can choose it if necessary. Cooperating with GPRS data channel, the module can transmit information to the control center in real time, thus making it easy to manage police resources.

Main Functions
Manual Quick Selection of Base Station-Parameters about control channels of different base stations are stored in different scanning sections of control channels. Then users can select a specific base station by pressing corresponding buttons.
Flexible Setting of Group Call-There are 40 channel groups, which are combined with each other flexibly. Response groups, participation groups, temporary groups and implicit groups can be set as required.
Confidential Group Call-By frequency setting in the terminal, current group can be set as confidential. Then calls between members in the group automatically become confidential. During an individual call or a non-confidential call, switching between open call mode and confidential call mode is easily achieved by operation of user-defined shortcut keys.
Temporary Grouping of Roaming System-Station number can be changed manually to allow the radio to participate in temporary grouping of roaming system.
Group Caller ID Display-In a group call, the trunking radio of the receiver dynamically displays ID of current speaker, thus making identification quite easy.
Channel Scanning Function-Channel scan modes include full-band scan, list scan, and section scan. Scan mode can be set by write frequency software or menu settings. Manual scan button is available.
Status Message-The feature is designed to indicate received status messages and the number of the sender. Users can just press UP key and DOWN key to look up the message back and forth. The screen displays up to 10 status messages, which come into 32 types.
Short Message-The function enables users to send and receive short messages. The radio can display more than 10 messages. Each of them contains up to 20 numbers.
Call Record-The feature is designed to display the latest call record, which contains 10 received calls and 10 dialed numbers.
Dynamic Reconfiguration-Users can flexibly reassign the vehicle-mounted radio to new talk groups in case of emergencies. So they don't have to send vehicle-mounted radio back to communication department for new programming. The product receives temporary grouping signaling sent from the trunking system to increase or decrease temporary group numbers the system assigns.
Smooth Inter-Network Switchover-Calls from a mobile station can be smoothly switched over to another network without a second login or voice interruption. The switchover function is designed with independent intelligent property right.
Second Development Interface-P5100 trunking transceiver provides a comprehensive second development interface protocol to make it possible to achieve extended functions.

Other Functions
Extra Large Channel Capacity-Up to 128 channels are available. Users can write personalized group names and channel numbers. Flexible grouping leads to more efficient team management.
Automatic Power Control-Long time transmission with high power will increase the radio temperature. Then P5100 vehicle-mounted radio will automatically decrease the transmitting power to ensure long service life of the product.
Multi-Function Scanning-Single or multiple-zone scan and list scan are available. Adding and deleting of channels can be carried out during scanning. When scanned, priority channel is turned off temporarily and interference channel is removed temporarily. Users can preset priority channels.
