Gravity Racking

This gravity racking puts to use one lane for storage and another lane for retrieval. A roller conveyor is inclined at a certain angle and fixed on the racking beam. Pallets are placed on the roller conveyor and drop down from a great height. For steady speed of decline of the pallet, a set of damping system is placed at regular intervals on the roller conveyor. The faster the pallet declines, the greater the resistance generated by damping system.

A separation mechanism is fixed on the lower end for separating two pallets on the bottom. Then, the pallet can be successfully taken out. This gravity racking is in high demand for its pallets. By far, the wooden pallet has been commonly used, while the pallet made from other materials requires an actually used pallet for a damping test.

Characteristics
1. The space utilization rate of our product is 85%, higher than that of the push-back type or drive-in type pallet racking.
2. Furthermore, this product has truly achieved the first-in, first-out principle.
3. Both its security performance and running efficiency are the same as those of normal pallet racking.
4. Its storage density is extremely high, but the cost is relatively great. Thus, our product is applicable for the items featuring large quantities but very few varieties.
5. Its height is limited, which is usually below 6m.
6. A common forklift is used to load or retrieve the items.

Damping Roller
The damping roller of our gravity racking adopts built-in structure. Conforming to the principle of centrifugal force, it is formed by a planetary gear mechanism. Additionally, it can effectively control the speed during the operation of pallet. Then, the damping roller is able to secure the goods and devices, whilst improving the logistics efficiency.

Safety Separator
The safety separator of our gravity racking serves to overcome the accumulative pressure produced by two pallets, and allows the forklift to load the goods easily. It is essential for a strategic warehouse. In use of the safety separator, the last item can keep a safe separation distance from the penultimate item. Only when the last item is completely separated from the warehouse, the penultimate item will start to drop down. This effectively avoids the affection of accumulative pressure.
