Drive-In Pallet Racking

This drive-in pallet racking is a whole building type consecutive racking system, which is not separated by aisles. Its main components include upright, top beam, bracing, arm, pallet, support rail, and some others. Pallets are stored on support rails in the depth of the racking, which makes the storage density relatively high.

Goods are loaded and retrieved from one side of the rack. A first pallet in and last pallet out system allows the forklift to drive into the racking as well as load and retrieve the goods conveniently. It is suggested to use below 7 aisles. The rail can be taken to improve the speed of the forklift.

With relatively low investment, our drive-in pallet racking is appropriate for storing large quantities but very few varieties of items with large lateral dimensions, such as food and cigarette. Due to its high-density and space-efficient storage system, this product is often applied in cold stores which demand for high cost storage space. Its space utilization rate is 30% higher than that of other racking systems.

3. The height can reach at most 10m.
4. The goods are restricted by the sequence of the place for storage, so it is hard to realize the first pallet in and first pallet out system.
5. Our product is not suitable for too long or too heavy goods.

A forklift starts to store pallets from the innermost position to the outermost position of the racking. Two sets of racking can be installed back to back. Alternatively, the single set can be placed against the wall. The forklift will enter the whole racking, so our drivers must be very careful. This drive-in pallet racking can be most easily managed with 3-5 pallets in depth and 4 levels in height.
