Aluminum Alloy Plastic Lined Pipe

Our aluminum alloy plastic lined pipe is composed of aluminum alloy PP-R pipe, aluminum alloy PB pipe, as well as aluminum alloy PE-RT pipe. Its structural characteristic is double-layer composite structure. The outer layer is aluminum alloy pipe, while the inner layer is polyolefin plastic pipe. These two layers are composted by adoption of special technique.

On one hand, this aluminum alloy plastic lined pipe possesses such advantages as clean plastic pipe, strong corrosion resistance, low thermal conductivity, outstanding delivery performance, high strength, as well as high-grade gorgeous appearance. Additionally, its external part has an aluminum alloy protective layer, thereby overcoming such shortcomings of plastic pipe as low surface hardness, low rigidity, big coefficient of linear expansion, poor resistance to ultraviolet radiation and ageing, among others.

On the other hand, our aluminum alloy plastic lined pipe is mainly formed by polymer materials, which can make the price of stainless steel pipe and copper pipe much cheaper. Also, it is a lightweight rigid pipe with long-term application performance. In comparison with the traditional steel pipe, this product can significantly save the costs of installation and manpower, as well as the investment of equipment and materials. Also, it reduces the operation and maintenance costs and extends the service life. Therefore, it gives a reasonable cost of comprehensive project.

Cautions
According to the national construction industry standard CJ/T321-2010 technical specifications, the pressure-temperature resistant ratings and service conditions of this aluminum alloy plastic lined pipe depend on the wall thickness of both inner and outer pipes. The provisions are listed below.

1. Wall thickness of both outer and inner pipes of this aluminum alloy plastic lined pipe must not be lower than the data listed in the table. The allowable deviation is no less than zero.
2. The pressure-bearing rating of aluminum alloy plastic lined pipe system is not allowed to be lower than PN2.5MPa.

A dedicated cutter is used for cutting from the radial direction of aluminum alloy plastic lined pipe. The depth had better not damage the main body of plastic pipe. Hot melting of both pipeline and pipe fittings proceeds simultaneously on basis of the required hot-melt length and time.

Hot-Melt Connection Method
1. Pipe Cutting and Peeling
In according to the required length, a pipe cutting tool is utilized to cut off the aluminum alloy plastic lined pipe. The cut end is perpendicular to the pipe axis. In line with the peeling length determined by the size of pipe, the cutting tool will cut off the aluminum alloy coating vertically. Moreover, a dedicated peeling tool fitted with an electric grinder will slide from the pipe orifice to the aluminum alloy pipe fracture. The aluminum coating can burst open automatically. Both raw edges and burrs can be removed.

2. Hot Melting
1) The end face connecting pipe and pipe fitting must be clean and dry without oil.
2) The hot-melt tool is powered on and reaches the working temperature. After the indicator light is on, this tool can start working.
3) While welding, the peeled aluminum pipe end, without rotating, is inserted into the prescribed depth of heating jacket. Meanwhile, the pipe fitting, without rotating, is pushed to the heating head and reaches the prescribed mark. The heating time should meet the requirement.
4) After the heating time is reached, both pipe and pipe fitting must be taken away from the heating jacket and heating head immediately. Then, they should be evenly and fast inserted into the required depth without rotating. Moreover, the external interface of pipe fitting forms a uniform flange.
5) Within a predetermined time, the joint welded just now can be corrected, but rotating is prohibited.

3. A Selection of Hot Melt Machine
This hot melt machine can come with electronic automatic temperature control system. The recommended temperature ranges from 230 to 260℃ for water. Specific temperature can be adjusted properly according to the working environment.

4. Precautions
1) When the electric grinding tool is used for peeling, the right hand must tightly hold the electric grinder, and the aluminum shavings should be prevented from flying into eyes.
2) The hot melt machine for heating the die head should be often cleaned in use of towel or cotton yarn. The metal cutter is not allowed to clean the die head, so as to stop the protective layer of non-stick pan from falling off.
3) The lined plastic pipe must not be exposed.
4) The joint welded just now must ensure its prescribed cooling time. During this period, moving is strictly prohibited.
