Distribution Types of Slots
Generally, the types are straight in line pattern, staggered pattern, spiral pattern. On the premises of the same aperture opening ratio, the staggered pattern allows less strength loss.

Slot Number
Under the normal conditions, the opening area of the slotted pipe is required to cover 3% of the surface area that needed to be slotted. The slot number for per meter can be calculated according to the following method:

The parameters of the straight slotted pipe mainly includes raw material, thickness, diameter, slot number, slot width, slot length. With the petroleum casing pipe used as the raw material, especially the J55 or N80 types, our pipe is high in strength, and is not prone to deformation. Also, it has large open area. If the 27/8" screen pipe is available with 300 slots per 1.5m, then its filter area reaches 72 cm3, which is 2.4 times more than the oil pipe of the same size.

Our product is free from any sharp edges, and has uniform slots. Due to the anticorrosive treatment, it has a protective layer formed on its surface. Thus, it is durable with excellent resistance to abrasion and corrosion. This type of pipe is applicable for preventing sand with particle size greater than 0.3mm. When used to the oil exploitation, it can prevent 99% sand, and decrease the oil pipe maintenance rate.
