Copper wire performs excellently in electrical and thermal conductivity. For the advantages of being non-magnetic, anti-sparking and resistant to atmosphere corrosion, salt air as well as brine, it is widely used in the wire cloth for special application needs. But there is a limit to the application range of copper wire due to the low tensile strength, poor resistance to abrasion and common acid. However, the copper wire netting now can also be employed for traveling water screen, radio frequency interference shielding, sugar and marine field.
