Welded Gabion

The base material of the welded gabion is rigid, lightweight and galvanized steel mesh made of metallic coated welded wire fabric and metallic coated wire. The product can be filled by using machine. It keeps the alignment of the face. The product with same flexibility as the twisted type product has greater strength. It is assembled by using spiral binder, lacing wire and stiffener. The metallic coated wire fabric can be PVC coated after the fabrication.

500×500mm, 1000×500mm, 1000×1000mm, 1500×500mm,1500×1000mm, 2000×1500mm, 2000×1000mm or according to requirements.

Note: We can choose the wire with special specification as customers' request.

Features
1. The welded gabion is economical to use by just being filled with stones and then sealed. It can be folded together during the transportation and then installed for practical use, which can save the transportation fee largely.
2. The installation can be finished easily with no need for special technical skill.
3. The product is corrosion resistant and can weather the natural destroy.
4. Even large scope of deformation can not cause collapse.
5. The plant can grow from the stone gaps deposited with sludge to form a whole with the surrounding environment.
6. The structure of the product filled with stones has good permeability to avoid the damage caused by the hydrostatic.

Application
The characteristics of erecting fast and no need for tensioning make the welded gabion keep its shape easily. It won't come out with bulge or depression. The product can be placed against the wall easily. So, it is often applied for river control, landscaping, retaining wall, reservoir and canal refurbishment as well as stabilization of earth movement and erosion.

Installation
The welded gabion is supplied in roll, assembled or partially assembled form. Generally, the gabion basket and mattress are produced in accordance with dimensional specification and appropriate shape without stretching or straightening. They can be assembled, placed and filled for the self supporting design. Different from that, the product can be assembled and joined through quick connecting and pre-formed spiral binder.
