The steel stud (51-150mm) drywall framing system is capable of double framing, providing designers with a highly versatile tool. This model is manufactured according to Australian and New Zealand standards. Our 0.5, 0.55, and 0.75bmt wall studs are punctured with the standard 25mm bell-mouth service hole. The bell-mouth design removes sharp protruding edges while eliminating the need for fitting grommets, which are commonly associated with electrical cabling. Round holes with standard spacing are punched along the 1.15bmt stud.

Mountain knurling found along the stud flanges provide the screw point with position affirmation during lining-board installation. The stud length may be extended. Steel studs with the specifications of 0.5, 0.55, and 0.75bmt can be boxed. Studs that are 1.15bmt or greater can be spliced back-to-back. These options allow for greater rigidity at window/door openings while effectively reinforcing points that require extra load carrying capacity, e.g., shelves. Maximum wall height and ceiling span tables are formulated in accordance with the Building Code of Australia (BCA).
