The methanol synthesis will be affected by the selective restrictions as well as the synthesis pressure, temperature, and so on, no matter it applies what kind of catalyst. During the methanol generation process, organic impurities such as alcohols, aldehydes,ketones, ethers, and the like, will be generated due to the side reaction. Whether the rectification system is easy to operate or not is depended on the crude carbinol quality. Therefore, to improve the carbinol quality and simplify the operation, you should select the proper catalyst. Also, you have to control the synthesis temperature, pressure, and the vapor composition.

In accordance with the client's requirement, our rectifying tower can make the methanol with the concentration of 30% or so, to be the type whose concentration ranges from 90% to 99.9%. To obtain the methanol with higher concentration, you can increase the reflux ratio. But the methanol output will be correspondingly decreased.
