The rotary cutting and creasing machine may sometimes be simply called a paper creaser or rotary creasing machine. It is used for creasing, slotting, and cutting of printed paperboards, thus allowing the paperboard to be folded into cartons. It typically installed after the flexo printing machine and before the die cutting machine.
Functions
1. Similar to our flexographic printing machine, the paper scoring machine is also designed with a planetary gear to adjust the rotation angle of the cutter head. Digitally displayed, the cutter head rotation angle can be 360 degree adjusted when the machine is in operation or shutdown.
2. The lateral movement of the slotting tool rest and creasing wheel is electrically adjusted, and the cutting knife is automatically adjusted according to the height of cartons. The ball screw for the rotary cutting and creasing machine features high movement precision, which makes for a more exact corresponding positioning for the upper and lower tools and effectively extends the lifespan of the tools.
3. The paper creasing machine adopts the spanner-free self-locking worm gear device to adjust and fix the intervals among crease lines.
4. The carton size, carton height, and cutter head rotation angle are all computerized controlled. The human machine interface makes the paper converting machine time and labor saving, and helps improve working efficiency. Up to 999 groups of operation parameters can be saved.
5. Owing to the dual-axle structure and large diameter creasing wheel, the rotary cutting and creasing machine offers good effects of forming and creasing.
6. This paperboard cutting machine is equipped with the elastic cutting mechanism, which ensures convenient cutting of three-ply and five-ply corrugated sheets.
7. As made of high-quality alloy steel, after the heat and grinding treatments, the slotting tool comes with excellent hardness, toughness and long service life.
8. The rotary cutting and creasing machine has optional devices to create holes on paperboards, thus ensuring the final boxes are convenient to be lifted.
