The pipe cap is an industrial pipe fitting welded onto the pipe end or mounted by matching the external thread on the pipe end to cover the pipe. It functions the same with the pipe plug, to block off the pipeline. As to shape, there are hemispherical cap, ellipsoidal cap, and saucer cap.
Production Process
The pipe cap is made by using cold or hot processing methods including bending, extrusion, pushing, compression molding and machining.
