Unlike industrial ball mill that can operate continuously, our intermittent ball mill only allows for interrupted grinding action. Its inside wall is lined with either ceramic liner plate or manganese steel plate. The primary benefit of this mill is that operators can set grinding time according to the desired fineness of resulting minerals. The finest size that the mill can produce is 2000 mesh size, which means the finished product can pass through the 2000 mesh screen. As matter of fact, our intermittent ball mill is well suited for use in grinding fine particles.
Structure
The mill is comprised of the feed end, discharge end, rotary drum, girth gear, and gear motor. The gear motor includes a driving gear, through which the rotating motion of the electric motor is transmitted to girth gear. The main drive shaft of the gear motor is made of cast steel. An electric control system is used to ensure safe, reliable operation of the gear motor. The girth gear is made through a process known as hobbing. The inside wall of the rotary drum is lined with liner plates to provide high abrasion protection for the surface.
Performance
1. High abrasion resistance due to liner plates
2. Cost effective, energy efficient, optimally structured, easy to operate, safe and reliable to use.
