The FC fiber optic adaptor incorporates a metallic structure and a round rotary type housing with screw threads. It offers high strength, low insertion loss, but requires relatively longer installation time. It meets RoHS, IEC, and GR-326 standards, and features great repeatability and connection durability.
To suit the individual application demands, the product is available in single mode and multimode variants to connect simplex or duplex fibers together. Its alignment sleeve can be made of ZrO2, phosphor bronze, or nickel. D-shaped and square shaped products are optional.
