Insulated Glass

The insulated glass is a kind of glass unit that has double or more glass panes separated by an air or other gas filled space. Between the glass panes, there are spacers made of aluminum alloy, stainless steel or other materials, and the spacer is filled with desiccant to remove moisture trapped in the air space. At the edges, two kinds of sealants are applied to form the entire body, and the sealant combination includes butyl and polysulfide, butyl and structural adhesive. In addition, the spacer may also be constructed using the warm edge technology. The spacer has different colors including black, light grey, dark grey and others, and it works together with sealants that have corresponding color to offer a beautiful appearance.

Features
1. Optical Property
Based on the properties of original glass, our insulated glass has a visible light transmittance of 10%-80%, and the visible light reflectance is within 6%-35%.
2. Thermal Performance
With the help of this product, the heat transfer coefficient is effectively cut down. If inert gas is filled in the space, the U-value will be further reduced.
3. Acoustic Insulating Property
Our product is able to reduce noise level effectively. If it is combined with laminated glass for sound dampening, a traffic noise of 80dB will be lowered to 45dB, creating a very quiet space for customers.
4. Hermetic Performance
The aluminum spacer is fabricated adopting the one-step automatic bending technology to cut down the joint number to the largest extent. Meanwhile, butyl and polysulfide sealants or butyl and structural adhesive sealants are applied to ensure the excellent hermetic property and to prolong its service life. Due to the dry air space, condensation is avoided.
