Clear Float Glass

Brief Introduction
The clear float glass refers to soda-lime-silica flat glass that is manufactured by the float glass process. It has a homogeneous thickness, and the transmittance of visible light depends on the glass thickness, usually within 80%-90%.

The common thickness varies from 2mm to 19mm, and the major values include 2mm, 3mm, 5mm, 6mm, 7mm, 10mm, 12mm, 15mm and 19mm. Moreover, this value can be as thick as 25mm or as thin as 1.6mm.

Aside from the thickness, pane size is also very important. The most commonly seen size on the market contains 2440×3600mm, 2134×3050mm, 2440×3300mm and 1830×2400mm, while the maximum size can reach up to 4×10m. Products with various sizes are supplied on customer’s request.
