Standard Resistor Color Coding

The standard resistor color coding is used to indicate the values of resistors here, and it mainly covers two systems.

Four Color Bands
It contains four color bands, and this system fits for CF, MO, RX21 or resistors with tolerance of 5%. For example, a resistor with color bands of brown, black, red, and gold signifies that the resistance value is 10×100, namely 1K ohm, and the tolerance is ±5%.

Five Color Bands
This system has five color bands, and it is applied for CF1% and MF products. For example, a resistor with bands of brown, black, black, orange, and brown means this device has a resistance of 100×1000=100K ohm with a tolerance of ±1%.
